It has become unnecessary after the previous commit, as now the generic
GetContentScaleFactor() can be used instead of it on all platforms, so
revert the changes of f6cc8ff52c (Add GetOpenGLScaleFactor() to abstract
OpenGL coordinates scaling, 2020-07-10).
See https://github.com/wxWidgets/wxWidgets/pull/1944
See #17391.
The fix for OpenGL coordinates when using high DPI in b134589cbb (Fix
OpenGL samples when using HiDPI displays, 2019-08-06) did fix it for GTK
3 and macOS, but broke it for MSW and other platforms not using pixel
scaling, as window coordinates are the same as OpenGL ones there, while
GetContentScaleFactor() can still return values > 1 even on these
platforms.
Provide new GetOpenGLScaleFactor() function abstracting this platform
difference and use it in all OpenGL samples to make them work correctly
in high DPI under all platforms.
Closes https://github.com/wxWidgets/wxWidgets/pull/1944Closes#17391.
Since OS X 10.12 it has been named macOS so it makes sense
to reference it in documentation as such, even when it
sometimes refers to older versions which were called (Mac) OS X.
Instruct people to use GetContentScaleFactor() to convert between
logical coordinates used by wxWindow and physical ones used by
wxGLCanvas.

Combined patch with the following changes:
- Don't add wxGLAttributes::Defaults() when the attributes-list is NULL.
- Add display default attributes used in wx versions before 3.1 when the
attributes-list is NULL. These attributes are different for each platform.
- Fix wxMSW PixelFormatDescriptor initialization.
- Don't set color buffers when RGBA() is used.
- Fix setting colour sizes in OS X and a few other fixes.
- Make documentation more clear about these subjects.
Closes#17425.
Add wxGLAttribsBase, wxGLAttributes and wxGLContextAttrs replacing the old
untyped "int attributes[]".
Don't use global object for creating OpenGL > 3.0 contexts.
Closes#16909.
As it and the other related flags are now present in 3.0.3 as well, they must
be documented as being new since that version and not since 3.1.0.
See #16402.
This keyword is not expanded by Git which means it's not replaced with the
correct revision value in the releases made using git-based scripts and it's
confusing to have lines with unexpanded "$Id$" in the released files. As
expanding them with Git is not that simple (it could be done with git archive
and export-subst attribute) and there are not many benefits in having them in
the first place, just remove all these lines.
If nothing else, this will make an eventual transition to Git simpler.

Use "wxWindows licence" and not "wxWidgets licence" (the latter doesn't
exist) and consistently spell "licence" using British spelling.
