Instead of using separate check and icon+text columns in the list model
page, use the combined check+icon+text column to verify that it works
(which is not the case current in the native Mac version).
This is useful to investigate inconsistencies in its behaviour between
the generic and the native GTK versions that can't be easily checked in
the automatic unit tests.
No real changes, just clean up sources by removing trailing spaces from
all the non-generated files.
This should hopefully avoid future commits mixing significant changes
with insignificant whitespace ones.
Previously, the last column couldn't be effectively resized at all, as
its size was always automatically set to the remaining width of the
window after subtracting the widths of all the previous columns. Now
this is only done if this remaining width is greater than the width
given to the column by the user or by the program.
Effectively, this means that the user can now drag-resize the column to
increase its size (at the price of showing the horizontal scrollbar).
See #18295.
The column is available in the GTK+ callback, so just pass it along to
avoid gratuitous inconsistency with the generic version.
Also update the sample to show the column value for these events.
Implement support for this attribute only in the generic version so far,
it will hopefully be implemented for the natives ones in the future.
Also add a new toggle column to the dataview sample to check how it
works: checking the items in this column enables using this attribute
for some other ones.
Closes#18180.
This allows showing radio buttons in wxDataViewCtrl easily and natively.
Notice that this approach, adding an extra function to the existing
renderer class instead of creating some new wxDataViewRadioRenderer (see
https://github.com/wxWidgets/wxWidgets/pull/809), was finally chosen
because it is simpler to implement and, more importantly, because it
will be more natural to generalize if/when we also add a 3-state
check/radio renderer.
Closes https://github.com/wxWidgets/wxWidgets/pull/853
Still use Connect() in unit tests which were written explicitly for it
and in EventConnector, which can't use Bind() as it uses a variable for
the event type.
No real changes, just use the newer and more convenient function.
This is useful to allow checking that the expected events are sent for
the custom editor in the second page of the sample too, in addition to
the standard ones used in the first page.
Previously this event was not sent at all if editing the item was
cancelled, e.g. by pressing Esc.
Do send it now from the generic implementation and update the sample to
show this event.
See #17835.
Simply translate wxEVT_HEADER_END_REORDER into this event, which was
previously only sent by the macOS version.
GtkTreeView doesn't seem to support column drag-and-drop at all, so this
event is still never generated by wxGTK.
Closes#14297.
For consistency with wxListCtrl under MSW (which is the only platform
where this change has any effect, as wxHD_BITMAP_ON_RIGHT is only
supported there), put the column images on the right side in
wxDataViewCtrl too.
Closes#13350.
Recent optimizations avoiding resort on item change (see
https://github.com/wxWidgets/wxWidgets/pull/642) have also optimized
away refreshing the modified item, which was done implicitly, as a side
effect of resorting, before, so the changes were not reflected on
display immediately any longer.
Fix this by simply refreshing the item explicitly and also add a way to
test for the correct behaviour in the sample.
Try to show as much useful information as possible for the available width,
notably show the time fully, including seconds, which was never done before.
Also add a date column to the dataview sample to allow seeing how this works
in practice.
See #16640.
If we specify the horizontal alignment, we also need to specify the vertical
alignment as otherwise the right-aligned columns would be also top-aligned,
looking out of kilter with the other columns which are centered by default.

This keyword is not expanded by Git which means it's not replaced with the
correct revision value in the releases made using git-based scripts and it's
confusing to have lines with unexpanded "$Id$" in the released files. As
expanding them with Git is not that simple (it could be done with git archive
and export-subst attribute) and there are not many benefits in having them in
the first place, just remove all these lines.
If nothing else, this will make an eventual transition to Git simpler.

Fix incorrect conflict resolution between the changes of r73823 and r73850:
the first renamed wxEVT_COMMAND_DATAVIEW_COLUMN_HEADER_RIGHT_CLICKED to
wxEVT_COMMAND_DATAVIEW_COLUMN_HEADER_RIGHT_CLICK while the latter renamed it
to wxEVT_DATAVIEW_COLUMN_HEADER_RIGHT_CLICKED. The proper new name is
wxEVT_DATAVIEW_COLUMN_HEADER_RIGHT_CLICK, use it instead.

Use the same short names as are used by the event table macros for the event
type constants themselves. This makes them much more comfortable to use, e.g.
Bind(wxEVT_BUTTON) compared to Bind(wxEVT_COMMAND_BUTTON_CLICKED).
The old long names are still kept for backwards compatibility and shouldn't be
removed as it doesn't really cost anything to continue providing them, but all
new event types should only use the short versions.

The naming of this macro was inconsistent with other similar macros in
wxListCtrl and wxTreeCtrl and even EVT_DATAVIEW_COLUMN_HEADER_CLICK in
wxDataViewCtrl itself. Moreover, it was even documented under the wrong name
without "ED".
Clear this mess by removing the "ED" suffix while still keeping the old macro
name for compatibility.

Allow specifying the drag operation flags and retrieving the drop effect when
it's over for wxDataViewCtrl drag-and-drop.
Currently this is only implemented in the generic version.

Add a special symbol which is defined only if the icons and other images (e.g.
cursor) are in the separate resource files and don't need to be embedded as
XPMs in the main program.
This makes the checks more clear and more customizable as it's enough to
change wxHAS_IMAGES_IN_RESOURCES definition instead of changing many platform
checks.
