VC6 doesn't like template methods, so use a helper template class instead,
hopefully this will finally allow it to compile the test suite again.

Just forward back to wxDC itself in this case instead of using the
platform-specific code in wxTextMeasure that only works with native DCs.

Don't call wxTextMeasure::DoGetTextExtent() with NULL width pointer, it now
supposes that both width and height pointers are non-NULL.
Add at least a trivial unit test for GetMultiLineTextExtent().

Add a new private wxTextMeasure class implementing methods for measuring text
and move the often duplicated (but not always identically) code for doing the
same from wxDC and wxWindow into it.
Currently this class is only really implemented in wxMSW and wxGTK.
Also extend the test for text measuring functions and rename it to
MeasuringTextTestCase from MeasuringContextTestCase as it's not wxGC-specific
any more.

Correct errors in TransformPoint() and TransformDistance().
Change Rotate() to interpret positive angles as rotating clockwise, for
consistency with wxGraphicsContext::Rotate().
Improve the unit test to verify that all the transformations work correctly.

The affine transform was previously multiplied by the translation matrix on
the right but this was incompatible with both the MSW version of the same
method and all the other methods of the generic version.
So multiply the transform by the translation on the left, as everywhere else.

Use locale-independent functions to parse and generate the floating point
alpha representation in CSS syntax for colours to make it work in locales
which don't use period as decimal separator.

wxCairoRenderer::CreateMeasuringContext() is only implemented for wxGTK so the
test fails under other ports when using Cairo. Disable it for wxX11 for now.

Add missing svn:eol-style property to all .cpp files. Also set svn:keywords for .cpp files which don't have that property yet to Id, including src/osx/core/glgrab.cpp for consistency (it doesn't make use of the property).

Add a lot of tests for many wx GUI classes.
Add tests using the new wxUIActionSimulator class but disable them under OS X
as too many of them currently fail there.
Refactor the test suite to make organizing the existing tests and adding the
new ones easier.
Improve documentation using the information gathered while testing the
classes. Also update the documentation of the testing system itself.

Also reformat the code to follow wx style and explicitly use UTF-8 for the
test strings encoding instead of assuming the encoding of the current locale
was UTF-8 (which is never the case under Windows).

Add comments to explain in more details what the function does and in particular the valid ranges of all internal variables; fix in that regard both the code of both wxELLIPSIZE_START, wxELLIPSIZE_MIDDLE and wxELLIPSIZE_END.
Add more asserts to check the valid ranges and turn a couple of time-expensive checks in level-2 asserts.
Add a test unit for the wxControl::Ellipsize function.
Fix minor details in the docs of wxControl::Ellipsize.

The value of wxColour::Alpha() was assigned to a temporary variable which
wasn't used afterwards and Mac OS g++ warned about it.

These methods allow to operate with all 3 or 4 colour channels at once.
Add their implementation, documentation and a unit test for wxColour
exercising them.
